AM Marathon: Class 01 - Week 05

Today's job was to animate a bouncing ball going through an obstacle course, and coming to a stop. We also had to create a pose that conveys devastation.

Very nice pose. Love the expression.

As for the ball, thank you for adding the ticker. It will make tearing your stuff up that much easier ;)
F47 to F52 - The spacing on the ball is too slow. Initially, the ball lifts off the paddle at a constant speed where at 3 frames (F16 to F18) the ball is gone. When it comes back down, it takes 5 frames to get to the same spot (relatively) as F16. Speed it up so the incoming speed of the ball is the same as what it had when going up.
F52 - The way the ball hits the paddle is too flimsy. The strength at which the ball hits the paddle the first time is very clear: the paddle has no breaks, and it is a very light paddle, but when the ball hits the same paddle on F52, the paddle is too stiff, and is not congruent with the motion you gave it earlier. To keep the same animation you have on the ball now, I suggest somehow "locking" the paddle in place before the ball comes back down. You can give it a nice wobble after the ball hits the paddle. If you don't want to "lock" the paddle, yet keep the consistency of the "flimsiness", then you'll have to give the ball MUCH less of a bounce-off, and keep the paddle consistent as far as the rotation goes (use the initial paddle rotation as reference).
I REALLY like the way the bounces feel after the ball goes into the ramp.

Let's see what else you've got! Keep it up, Dude! :)
